Vue Unity Speakers
The Vue National Association has selected three distinguished speakers to highlight at our Vue Unity Conference. They have proven themselves with outstanding accomplishments in their personal and professional life. They are the shiny stars and examples, paving the way for our Vue family, especially our youth. It is a privilege to have them as our honorary speakers, covering topics that are most relevant to our Vue family.

Dr. Pao Lee Vue, Ph.D.

Dr. Pao Lee Vue, Ph.D., is a renowned educator with extensive experience in higher education, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as culture and community engagement. He is currently the Director of Culture and Community Engagement for the Minnesota Office of Higher Education. He has worked in higher education for over 25 years, holding various high-impact roles at major universities and completing a wide range of research on social justice and diversity issues, particularly the challenges and concerns within the Hmong community.

Dr. Pafoua Her Vue, Ph.D.

Dr. Pafoua Her Vue, Ph.D., is a seasoned executive with leadership experience across the corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors. She is the founder and owner of 4Chi Business Solutions, LLC, and holds a Ph.D. in Organizational and Business Management. As a consultant, trainer, and thought leader, Dr. Her has worked with corporations, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations on cultural competency, recruitment and retention, strategic planning, and organizational leadership and development.

Dr. Tou Yia Vue, Ph.D.
Topic:Damages and Impact of Alcohol Consumption on the Brain
Dr. Tou Yia Vue, Ph.D., holds a degree in Neuroscience from the Graduate Program in Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where he studied the role of Sonic hedgehog signaling in regulating thalamic nuclei cell fate specification and the influence of thalamocortical axons on neurocortical area formation. Dr. Vue then pursued postdoctoral research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. His research focused on the function of transcription factors in regulating glial development and heterogeneity in both gray matter and white matter of the central nervous system, as well as glioma brain tumor development, using transgenic mouse models. In 2017, he established his research laboratory in the Department of Neurosciences at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, where he also serves as a faculty member in the New Mexico Alcohol Research Center (NMARC) and an associate member of the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
